“The Rock” pisses in water bottles

Pissing in a bottle is part of his gym routine

When it comes to famous actors or actresses, maybe you imagine them using luxurious and big bathrooms with crazy features but this time it’s not the case.

In an episode of the video series, “Explain This” by Esquire (an American men’s magazine), actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson discussed his workout routine and fitness exploits, which include peeing in used water bottles because most of the gyms he frequents don’t have restrooms.

“I usually stay pretty hydrated”, Johnson says. “I need to go to the bathroom a lot. Not a lot, but probably a couple of times during a workout I have to go to the bathroom. So I break out the bottle”.

Johnson talked about his strange workout routine, which he originally exposed in an Instagram video from 2017 in which a water bottle full of clear yellow liquid was clearly visible at one point. “I just realized you all just saw my big bottle of pee”, Johnson said in the video. “Look, I go hardcore when I train. I don’t have time to go to the bathroom. I find a bottle, I pee in it, and I keep training like a beast”. 

Johnson, on the other hand, wants people to know that the bottles he pees in and the ones he drinks from are kept separate. “It’s not a water bottle that I’ve actually purchased solely for water that you wash and you clean when you’re done using it”, Johnson explained. “These are just bottles that I’m no longer using”.
